Mai convocation is a combined one both for sisters and brothers, unlike the Sisters' Socials held in Poona ( Pune ) in 1932, Madras     ( Chennai ) in 1949, and three Socials  convened in Kerala itself  on Dusserah Days. The first was in Calicut in 1954, the second in Trichur in 1957 and the third in Trivandrum in 1958, the last under the President-ship of her Highness the Maharani Sethu Parvathi Bai, the Maharani of Travancore.
In view of the greatest desire and continued pressure  of all Mai devotees in Kerala, Maiji ( His Holiness Mai swarup Mai Markand ) has specially desired ( in obedience to the Mai-command ) that this year this function ( the fourth in such a small, but most devotional and enlightened State ) should be open to all sisters and brothers  and should be held for three days  instead of the usual one day Sisters' Socials, and that the Mai-Prayer and Mai-worship programme be also included in the Convocation.
Maiji and Mai-ism are so very well and widely known especially,in KERALA, that all our enthusiasm  to narrate the various details  of Maiji's life  and love would be a monotonous task and as wasteful as carrying coal to Newcastle. Suffice it to say that every year Mai devotees are increasing by leaps and bounds. And that is so, many have undeniable, miraculous experiences of promptest reliefs , immense solid helps and quickest removal of miseries on staunchest, true devotion to Mai and Maiji. We request all interested inquirers  to contact Mai Adherents' Institute for a free copy of  ' Mother's Message ' pamphlet.

In one word, Mai-ism is the Universal Religion serving as crown to the individual religions and every religion or sub-religion, centered round the conception of one Mother of all. Mai-ism can be adhered to without departure  from one's own religion, because it leaves every one free to follow one's own wishes, with only four simplest universal tenets of Love, Service, Devotion and Unconditional Cheerful Self-surrender to one's own God , Deity or the worshipped.
Mai-ism has enough literature to give the full idea. In a word, it is universalisation of all religions and rationalisation of all religions. Mai-ism has been established since 1932. Mai Adherents' Institute in Trichur was started on 4 October 1957 and in Perintalmanna  on 2 November 1958, when Maiji came down to Bless Mai Devotees in Kerala.
Mother's Lodge was the first Institute, started in Poona ( Pune)on 27 March 1933 the Gudi Padwa Day with a view to broadcasting  Mai-ism all over the world  wherever it received approbation and acceptance. Mai is a household  word in Gujarat and Saurashtra, in substitution of Mataji, the old Hinduism word, that has elevated the conception and worship of " Shakti " or " Power " and transformed it to  the sub-limited  Ideal of the Universal Mother.Whereas Mataji has been mostly the Goddess of Power. Mai has been and is the Mother to Her child. To those that can appreciate , this is an earth and sky difference as great as of  purest Sathvik lovingness as against  the invincible  enslaving Power ( Shakti ).
Mai Adherents' Institute is the highest essence of the activity and outspread of the Mothers' Lodge movement. It is the most delicious nectar-fruit grown on the " Mothers' Lodge " TREE. after 24 years of austerities, in 1957. Mai Adherents' Institute ( M.A.I. )  is the institute which has sisters and brothers  as its members, who, as stated before, have finally accepted their relationship with God as of the children and Mother and whose last hope in the matter of all religious progress, peace, happiness and emancipation lies in Mai and Maiji.
Mai-ism was represented at All Faiths' Conference at Nasik, INDIA in 1933 and the Indian Philosophical Congress at Poona ( Pune ), INDIA 1934. Maiji was invited to Japan for the World Religious Congress in 1955. Maiji was the Sub-Councillor-in-Chief of the International Religious Federation which was started in Japan in 1955.
Maiji had been elected as VICE PRESIDENT and spiritual MINISTER for PEACEFUL HUMAN RELATIONSHIP & Universal Religious Alliance ( U.R.A. ) in Havana, Cuba for SIX YEARS FROM 1959 TO 1965.
The most appreciated representation of Mai-ism was at the Universal Religious Alliance World Congress held at Havana in Cuba from 23 October 1959 to 22 January 1960. Mai-ism was explained, discussed and commented upon in the World Congress by Revered Sister Duchesse Blanche Ledran, the Grand Chancellor of the Universal Religious Alliance.Mai-ism received the greatest approbation in this World Congress of the Universal Religious Alliance, which has a standing of over five decades. In fact it is one the most important religions institutes. As stated in the Preliminary Report pertaining to the Congress held on 23 October 1959, the complete attendance at the Congress was around 3800 persons  2184 of which intergrated about 318 different official delegations , which came from 96 different countries. The representation was of 449 different sections and sub-sections  of religious and various organisations. Further more , 43 countries had sent their official observers. Appreciation and truest understanding about Mai-ism by the said World Congress would be evident from these words; " We have received valuable literature from all quarters of the world ' which amply reveals  that the regeneration of man is at hand, as well as  that a new age ( Aquarian ) is being ushered in taking the shape of a brand new Spiritual Civilisation. We recommend such sources of research. We recommend Mai-ism and the Mai Institute of Santa Cruz West. Bombay-54.(Mumbai -54) India.
All things said and done, all theories and philosophies  studied and discussed, the final-most aim and object of every human being is to  have minimum of misery, maximum of peace and happiness, quickest progress of evolution  and finally the Mukti or Salvation or Emancipation. As to this last and unexceptionable aim and object of every human being, Mai-ism suggests, teaches and trains  Mai-ists to be living the life of a Mother's child ' with universal love and service  and devotion with unconditional cheerful self-surrender to Mai's Divine Will. Mai-ism, as the last word, lays down the devotional Ideal of a Mai-ist as under : " Practice feeling that you are a child - a child whom Mother could not but accept, however wicked. You automatically get confidence , you regain your innocence , purity and sincerity and you raise yourself above world wormness, sexuality and selfishness. You are of your cares, time is eternity for you and life is lightened.
Be MOTHER'S CHILD and Her lap shall be thrilling and throbbing to have you on itself ".
There have been text-books of Mother-worship open to all of any religion in Hindi, English, Gujarati. Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.Mai does not mean Mother alone, but Mai-ism includes believers of one Mother of all or one Father of all, or one Mother-Father or one Father-Mother of all. The main emphasis is on oneness of God for the whole Universe. For Mai devotees that are especially devotees of Mai the relationship of God and devotee is that of Mother and child.
